THE REVIEW
The taste is exquisite. It’s so kiwi forward, exactly what I loved about it back then. I’m pretty sure kiwi is one of Scotty’s favorites too. Pure mana. The can still had super carbonation even after 4 years. Had a nice hiss on opening. The flavor held up, just as remembered.

THE MEMORIES
Summer of 2017, I was working as a skydive instructor at skydive city in florida. My buddy and fellow instructor Scotty lived on the dropzone. Every morning on my drive in, I’d stop for two Kiwi Apple Red Bulls. One for me, one for Scotty. It became our morning ritual. Before the first load, we had our drinks and the day was underway. Kiwi Apple wasn’t one flavor among many to me. It was part of those mornings, a custom from that part of my life, and my number one red bull flavor of all time. I had never tasted anything quite like it. Still. To this day. Then one day, it was gone. No last can saved for later. No goodbye. The flavor disappeared, but I still remember those mornings and the two cans that started them. Fast forward to today, and I’m the proud owner of two full 12 ounce cans. Both expired in 2022. Today I crack one open, so now I have one full can left. The taste is exquisite. It’s so kiwi forward, exactly what I loved about it back then. I’m pretty sure kiwi is one of Scotty’s favorites too. Pure mana. The can still had super carbonation even after 4 years. Had a nice hiss on opening. The flavor held up, just as remembered. One stays in the collection. The other’s taste sits fresh in my memory again after a far too long 10 year hiatus. Happy Saturday everyone! High 5!
